About Me
I am an artist with the passion for creating and exploring. As a young child, I spent my days recreating images from dog encyclopedias, and in school, my schedule was filled with every art class offered. I excelled in drawing, painting, craft-making, sculpting, etc. I was constantly seeking out new art forms and mediums to try. It was the challenge of understanding a new tool or the way a medium flowed or resisted that pushed me further into my art exploration.
I believe my passion, persistence, eye for detail, drive for perfection, and unique style, set me apart as an artist as well as allow me to create vivid and telling artwork. An explorative heart pushes me to continue to learn new techniques as well as perfect my style and methods. To me, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing my completed art project and watching the way it has come to life.
My art pieces have been in numerous art shows and competitions. One of my biggest achievements was winning the Congressional Art Competition, where my piece was flown to Washington D.C. to hang in the U.S. Capitol Building's corridors.
As I search for a career in the art field, I hope to secure a position where I am able to use my talents and help others to explore a world that I have designed. I want to make them believe and see things that take them out of reality and into a well-designed and beautifully-crafted space.
